Hellloooo Zootopia!
Well, last time I posted I figured we’d been getting more fic updates post Z-2, hence going up to bi-monthly posts. But I didn’t figure we’d be this INNUNDATED with fic updates, and it’s only going to get bigger as more fics are being reviewed and subscribed to. Indeed, come the new year I plan to wind these update posts up to one per week, with a new fic review schedule to boot. Ah well, we’ll see, but one things for sure is that the days of only a fic few updates per month are WELL behind us.
And, while almost all of what I have to offer are still legacy fics, there is one stand out amongst them all. Give it all out for VariableMammals and his whopping FOURTEEN updates, almost a chapter a day, of Different Tails, ALL of them Zoo-2 inspired oneshots and drabbles, with plenty of Gary and Nibbles for your entertainment. He was a sure fire shoe-in to be featured this update, only for a fic no-one expected to see again to claw its way out of the Fanfic Graveyard. That’s right, SHARDS IS BACK! While I’ve never read it, it’s well known amongst many as a fandom classic, so I am certain many are very excited to see its return.
And with a mix of other fics updating, including multiple posts from CiderStripes and Cafe_Civet and a part 1 Christmas chapter from Cr1ms0nD1am0nd, there’s a whole lot of reading that diligent readers will have to get on with. Indeed, on my end I’ve been having to put aside time to keep up with all these, lest I fall way behind.
By the next time an update like this comes out, it’ll be New Year. So, see you then, and Merry Christmas.
