Oh yeah…. We are SO back!
Welcome back Zootopians! We’re now past the opening weekend of Zoot 2 and, looking at the box office returns, it seems like you’ve all been busy XD. Well, for those who haven’t yet got the chance, don’t worry, no spoilers here. Instead we have a MEGA fic update. TEN -I repeat TEN individual fics updating, with twenty individual chapters for you to feast your eyes on. And what’s remarkable is that a quarter of that comes from just Different Tails, the king of the oneshot series returning in full force. But not far behind that is Fallout Zootopia, racing in with four meaty chapters of wasteland adventures for you.
But, two honourable mentions are due. First, to Forty Glimpses returning once more. Second, -Ladies and Gentlemammals, ‘Spies and Pies’ has CROSSED THE LINE! A very unique fic for its Gid-Sharla focus, even before it gorged you on a cavalcade of spy tropes and some badass action, all wrapping up at the end with a finale chapter that is all heart… and a ton of baked goods.
This has been a truly fantastic month, and with everything pointing towards even more fanfic coming in we’ve got a few announcements to make. First off, we’ll be trying some new tags for upcoming fic reviews, denoting whether fics are in the Zoo 1 Canon, Zoo 2 canon, Zoo 2 lite, or pure AU’s… Secondly, we’re going to be upping these fic review posts. At first, we’ll try bi-monthly, but I can easily see this becoming a weekly thing if the rate of fan engagement keeps rising.
-We’ve waited a long time for this day, so let’s enjoy it mammals, and reptiles. It’s only gonna get better.
