Welcome back Zootopia!
Post your fics when September ends, because we’ve got a bumper crop of updates for you, all as the air turns nippy, leaves turn orange, and I’ve even heard some terrible, terrible people already mentioning the ‘C’ word (shiver).
But that’s not the only horror thing to celebrate the start of ‘month of the spooky’, because a certain mascot horror based fic has done something special. That’s right, ‘Beneath the Funfactory’ by Giftheck, fresh off catching up to the manga videogame, has finished! A fantastic job, with the author finishing his largest story by far after a truly relentless update schedule. If only the feature-title it gave this update post could meet up to the one Gift’s last fic gave its one; alas, I think that’ll be the GOAT fic update title for a long time coming. Still, that doesn’t detract at all from the achievment. Congrats on crossing the line, and may we see just how close to the real ending you have gotten.
But, with Gift leaving the update posts for now, it seems DesertLassOpossum is stepping up as the big updater, with 6 new chapters for Spies and Pies.
Other fics are both the Long Game AND Badge and Opossum both with high stakes legalese battles raging on… -Similar in summary, if very different in tone, execution and levels of sanity. And The Thin Blue Line is carrying on its welcome return with another update, The Sisters Hopps also dropping a mammoth chapter.
All this and more, all as things are warming up with new fics being submitted and everything warming up as we enter the home stretch towards sequel day. I’m getting excited Zootopians, are you?
