Our Featured Image for this week requires a wee bit of an explanation. Shortly after Christmas of last year, the good folks of Barranquilla, Colombia–hometown of Gazelle’s VO artist, Shakira–decided to honor her with a 20′ tall statue.
The moment that story hit the internet, we knew it was only a matter of time before one of our fanartists created a Zootopified version of that sculpture. Sure enough, someone did…and so here it is.

I love how the Zootopia fanart community never fails to surprise us. It’s amazing how quickly they can create Zootopified versions of real-life sculptures like this geometry dash meltdown. I can’t wait to see how they’ve transformed the statue into a unique piece of Zootopia art.
