[Rating K9]Hurt/Comfort/Humor
Ever got that thing that you just hate to touch? That sends shivers up your spine, makes your mouth go dry, and just gives you the heeby-jeebies? Well, anyone who’s watched Zootopia 2 knows that Nick shares your pain, with textures of a scaly kind not playing nice with him. But, while we got a big display of his discomfort in the middle of the movie, a whole bunch of life and death situations near the end left it kind of forgotten. Not, however, by a certain quokka therapist who is intent on giving Nick and little bit of exposure therapy to help him past it, and has the perfect snake to help her out. A short and fun fic, that explores and pushes through Nick’s issue and deflective snark with both jitters and laughs.

Gary drops into Nick’s therapy session to help with his reptile aversion, but things derail when his shed comes on in the middle of Dr. Fuzzby’s office. This is not the help Nick wanted, but it may be what he needs to shed his preconceptions.
