We’ve had the last pre-Zoo 2 fic, we’ve had the ‘during’ Zoo 2 fic, and now, inevitably, we have the first post Zoo 2 fic feature. And, while it’ll take some time for true Zoo-2 fics to start filtering through, it seems fitting that we’re starting off again with a fic that can certainly swing in plenty of the Zoo 2 ideas into its lore, seeing as Reptiles have been mentioned in the lore, if only in passing…
Though that stuff will certainly have to wait, as Agent Exeider’s long running Shadows in the Dark series is returning with a new installment, picking up hot where previous fics had left off and not taking its foot off the pedal. For this isn’t just another episodic installment, with plot lines, threads, teased mysteries, foreshadowing and end-of-fic villain chapters from across the saga all coming back in force as a strange event in Zootopia forces various factions to commit their hand, whether ready or not, Alas, not all trust each other for reasons good and bad, all as there are some very long teased aces ready to finally be played.
Everything is lining up here for it to be a truly exciting action packed installment, with major implications for the world of Zootopia teased and just ready to break out. With great characters forced out of their comfort zones, and the stand out action and dialogue we’ve come to expect from the series, this is well worth the read.
