Any city goer is likely well familiar with their hometown’s public transport, and for a Zootopian native like Nick there’s no exception. But for a world-worn fox like him, the subway system has played very different roles at different times in his life than the utilitarian one it plays now -ones that he reflects on as he travels. A small but interesting introspective fic, painting a deeper picture of our favourite fox and his past life.
