Childhood AU’s and Nick-moves-to-Bunnyburrow fics are a whole genre unto themselves, and here we have another fine addition to the collection, an older fic but one that has started updating once more. With an orphaned Nick being picked up by Bonnie and Stu, at the insistence of a determined Judy, he soon finds that he’s not the most popular mammal around the Burrow… -Though certainly not alone, as amongst the deep dives into Burrow organisation this fic gives, one thing that becomes clear that is that popularity politics is BIG amongst the kits. If you don’t meet the fold then then you have a target on your back… -Just a good thing that a fox and a wannabe police Bunny have their back. Moving, energetic, and full of childhood energy and both joyous and tragic emotions, well worth a look.
