Holy cow, is it almost October already? Time flies like the birds we’ll see in Zootopia 3. …I don’t think that’ll catch on, but oh well. Regardless, it’s time for our annual art challenge! Anyone of any skill level can […]
IT’S HAPPENING! I REPEAT, THIS IS NOT A DRILL, ZOOTOPIA 3 IS HAPPENING! Announced at the D23 Entertainment Showcase tonight, Jared Bush took to the stage and showed a short video revealing the logo for Zootopia 3! It doesn’t yet […]
Hey folks. Andy Lagopus here. At time of writing, it’s 4am. There’s no reason for an article to be going live at this time. It’s nuts. But I feel as though things are rather nuts at the moment. My life […]
Today, we have something a little unusual- a PSA about a new website that we think you should check out. It’s not strictly zootopia-based, but rather a platform for all fandoms! The site? ArtistAlley.org! Before you ask, this is not […]
As many of you know, a few months ago ZNN turned 10 years old! Not wanting to miss this significant milestone, I spent a few months getting a figurine made, then figuring out a manufacturing process, writing song lyrics, filming, […]
During today’s earnings call for investors, Disney’s new CEO Josh D’Amaro had some very interesting things to say. He focused on what makes Disney one of the most valuable companies in the world- it’s intellectual properties. In particular, he talked […]
10 Years. 10 years ago, to the minute, I hit “post” on the very first article on this website. Wow. I don’t really have words to express how momentous this is. How much life has changed in a decade. How […]
You know, sometimes I write a headline, that is basically the story on its own. Sometimes they’re strange and possibly the first time these particular words have been strung together in this order. Today it’s both! The high-end grocery store […]
Hey everyone! Andy Lagopus here to let you know how the Second Ultimate Thank-You Card Project is going! Don’t mind that I’m now upside-down; you could say the project has taken a bit of a turn. We have some good […]
Hey everyone! We are two weeks away from the 10-year anniversary of ZNN, and with the goal of delivering a card to every member of the Disney staff on that day in mind, we have some updates and announcements for […]
…Or should we say, Disssssney+? Launching on the streaming platform today, we got a special trailer voiced by none other than Gary De’Snake himself, Ke Huy Quan! Furthermore, when you boot up the app, for a limited time you’ll be […]
Some of you who have been around the fandom for a while might remember when we did The Ultimate Thank-You Card Project back in 2016. It was a big challenge, and I admittedly had no idea what I was doing […]
To celebrate the release, ZNN will be hosting a laid-back community watch party over on our Discord, and everyone’s invited to come hang out! We’ll be running a full double feature of Zootopia and Zootopia 2 back-to-back, starting at […]
Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! For a movie that doesn’t have a big dramatic kiss at any point, Zootopia 2 sure is romantic, isn’t it? And while Wildehopps isn’t entirely there yet, the foundation has been laid for something truly magnificent to […]
Given how well-versed Nick and Judy were in therapy-speak by the end of the Zootopia 2, it’s a bit of a shame we didn’t get to spend more than one scene with the adorable Dr. Fuzzby. See how well Hopps […]
On the night of Monday, February 10th, many members of the cast of Zootopia 2, along with Directors Byron Howard and Jared Bush and a few other voice actor friends, gathered at the Wallis Theater in Los Angeles to do […]
Earlier today, Jared Bush took to r/Movies on reddit to hold a free-for-all Ask Me Anything session. Hundreds of questions were asked, and to his credit he answered a good couple dozen of them before he ran out of time. […]
Here’s a bit of unexpected news- The Screenplay for Zootopia 2 just released, thanks in part to Deadline! Typically, when a movie’s final screenplay is released, it’s done as part of an Academy Award Campaign, or when the movie goes […]
The past few weeks have certainly been interesting, haven’t they? Zootopia 2 released, broke records left and right, and now has reached such cultural prominence that massive newspapers like the New York Times are having to dive into the question […]
Zootopia 2 was a labor of love, but the key word in that phrase is “labor”. A TON of work went into its creation from hundreds of artists, programmers, animators, and more. To demonstrate just what went into it, Disney […]
Before we begin this review, I have a confession to make. I, Andy Lagopus, am a massive fan of Zootopia. Shocker, I know. But genuinely, that is something that needs to be addressed before proceeding with this review. Zootopia is […]
You heard that right folks! According to the data collected by r/boxoffice over on Reddit, Zootopia 2 has been doing huge numbers in pre-sales around the world, particularly in both North America and China. As of today, roughly $12.52 Million […]

It’s been a busy week for the stars of Zootopia 2. The press tour is in full swing, and for most of them, that involves a stop onto the couch of Good Morning America! We get some interesting tidbits of […]
We’ve been saying for years that Asian merch companies should sell Zootopia products to the west. Even back in 2017, we were saying that there needed to be more Zootopia merch outside of China, Japan, and Korea. Fortunately, with Zootopia […]
