We have some amazing news today for you all- Jared Bush has confirmed that, not only is Shakira returning as Gazelle (which we already knew), but they have finished her new single for the film! There isn’t a preview or any indication of what it will be like yet, but if it’s anything like Try Everything… it’s gonna be stuck in our heads for years.

We can also confirm, 100%, that Michael Giacchino will be returning to compose the soundtrack for Zootopia 2! I can only hope that the track titles are as punny as the first one- “Ewe Fell For It” and “A Case of the Manchas” always get a chuckle out of me when they pop up on my playlist. Besides, Zootopia wouldn’t be what it was without his iconic music, so it’s only natural he returns for it.
