You read that right: a new Zootopia 2 trailer might be here very soon!
In May, the first Zootopia 2 teaser trailer was officially released, rejoicing all Zootopia fans around the world, yet leaving them hungry for more as it did not show any scenes actually featured in the movie, nor did it reveal much about the plot of the sequel…
However, The Hollywood Handle recently shared the following post on X (formerly known as Twitter): “A new ‘ZOOTOPIA 2’ trailer has been rated and is ready for release with a 2 minutes & 23 seconds runtime. Expected to release sometime in the coming days.”
Another source seems to confirm the existence of this new trailer (via the Business Practices and Consumer Protection Authority of British Columbia) as pointed out by X user @mangobunnn: the Consumer Protection BC website indeed shows a page for a “ZOOTOPIA 2 (TRAILER #2), which is said to be 2 minute and 23 seconds long as announced by The Hollywood Handle.
If you are involved in the Zootopia fandom on X/Twitter, you have probably seen two new Zootopia 2 images that – as far as we know – were shown in cinemas in Thailand a couple days ago. Now that we know a second trailer is ready for the world to see, we can speculate and say it isn’t completely unlikely cinemas in Thailand accidentally started showing the new trailer before its official release.
The exact release date of this second trailer remains unknown for now, but get ready! It could come any day now!
