This fic is proof that one teensy little change in the plot of the movie can change everything. When Judy gets fired for real, she decides to take matters into her own paws as to how she’ll continue to defend her city and take down evildoers. The story does a great job in setting up its engaging narrative from the get-go, and it’ll be thrilling to see how Nick and Judy’s relationship will evolve over the course of this AU due to her new life as a vigilante.
