Now that Zootopia 3 has been announced, many of us are probably speculating about what might change versus what might be brought back. We already know they will be adding birds to the flock of the already existing cast of characters, and fan favorites like Judy, Nick, and Gary are all to return. But when Disney was faced with the question of: What do we change? It was a daunting one to be sure. Disney has already faced similar issues with fan fatigue with older franchises such as Marvel and Star Wars. But obviously Zootopia isn’t quite as old as that and has been met with critical success for the most part. But this didn’t come without planning and hard work, as the team over at Disney Animation had to do a lot of planning to get there.
