Relationships are often a fickle thing. One of those social interactions where one has to navigate it with tact and poise. Always having to be cognizant of whoever one’s significant other is. After all one doesn’t want to cross any boundaries, especially early on. Certainly, mistakes are permissible, but many of us would likely feel like we are walking on eggshells in order to feel safer in the relationship. Nick and Judy would be no different, especially since they are different species, not to mention the whole more “natural” biological relationship they have to contend with. Some in the Zootopia community would likely question the choice at first for both of them, but I think would time that most would come to accept it. Recently in a comic strip originally by Scales and Feathers, Judy and Nick face the early perils of relationship concerns. Judy is taking it from a much more logical perspective while Nick seems much more casual about it. NQaM over on YouTube even dubbed the comic, and it navigates through each of the panels as the story progresses. Both are definitely worth checking out.
