Every so often, a video emerges that perfectly captures the depth of fandom, and this one is a showstopper. In it, a dedicated collector and a very recognizable fan from our Discord and ZNN team member, Skul, breaks down their astonishing Zootopia home-media collection! The numbers alone are enough to make any fan do a double-take. As of now, the collection comprises two VHS copies, 28 DVDs, 46 standard Blu-rays, 19 3D Blu-rays, and nine 4K UHD releases, sourced from 10 different countries and featuring cover art in eight printed languages.
What makes this especially impressive is that these aren’t just duplicates with different slipcovers. Skull has collected 63 truly unique releases, many of which include multiple formats bundled together, such as Blu-ray/DVD combos, 4K/Blu-ray packs, or even full 3D sets. When everything is counted, the total comes to a staggering 160 individual discs.
Videos like this are a reminder that physical media still matters. especially for films with international reach and passionate fanbases, which I think we can all agree would be a perfect description of Zootopia. Each release tells a slightly different story through its packaging, language, and regional design choices. It really is a testament to the reach Zootopia has had!
