Hello Party Mammals!
I hope you all have had a good Zootopia 2 Week! I had the privilege of being able to see the movie on opening night at the El Capitan- Sorry, El HOPitan theater in Hollywood. The place was decked out with Zootopia photo ops, decorations, lighting, and even had Nick and Judy on stage to open the show with their own performance to ‘Zoo!’
Let’s start with looking at the outside of the theater, which has been transformed into The El Hopitan! Gary is wrapped around the entrance, joined by Nick, Judy, and Dr. Fuzzby. There are also several cutouts in the Gerhidelli store next door!
Moving inside, we have multiple photo ops set up in the lobby, including the standee with Nick, Judy, and Garry. They also had the vending machine, along with a photo op with the stars seated around you to watch the movie with you.
Once inside the theater, we were treated to instrumental classical Disney music being played on the organ, as well as being played by his assistant!
Finally, it was show time! Nick and Judy came out, performed for us, and the show started!
This was an amazing experience, and I will be back when we have the premiere of Zootopia 3! Hopefully sooner rather than later!
