Hello everyone! Andy Lagopus here, and today we find ourselves in a strange set of circumstances. Trust me, the cover image will make sense.
You see, ZNN will be attending the Annecy Film Festival next week, to report on the upcoming preview of Zootopia 2. What’s more, we’ve been given the opportunity to interview none other than Jared Bush himself!
To do that, though, we’ve decided to have a bit of a fundraiser. A flight to France isn’t cheap, after all, and while we appreciate our incredible patrons over on Patreon, those funds are not quite covering the monthly cost of hosting these days. We don’t exactly have a budget for business trips, even flying economy.
That’s where y’all can help.
I am auctioning two of my personal Warhammer 40k armies on eBay- 42 Orks (960 pts) and 111 Necrons (2655 pts). I don’t want to ask for money without offering anything in return, after all, so if you bid on these, you can have a chance to win an entire playable 40k army, hand-painted by yours truly!

The Necrons were my first army, and one of my favorites. I want to make sure they go to someone who will appreciate them, and who is willing to help support ZNN. And I absolutely love the Orks. My primary Ork army is a bit too custom-made to sell, but this one is perfect for someone interested in getting into 40k. If one of you ends up winning either one, I’ll send a special bonus gift with them as well- a preview of a secret project we are working on at ZNN.
Anything beyond what we need to fund the trip to Annecy ($600) will go towards other special projects and keeping the site afloat while we get ready for Zootopia 2.
If the auction is out of your price range, there’s still a way you can help! We’ve recently revitalized our Patreon, with a new reward tier: $10 donors get special access to the It’s Called A Podcast, Sweetheart discord server, and can listen in to our recording sessions as part of our live studio audience. If you feel you can offer that much support, that would be amazing as well- that will go towards our monthly hosting costs, as well as any events we may have in the future, such as contests or sweepstakes (should we find ourselves able to afford that).
Thank you so much in advance- we can’t overstate how lucky we are to have you all as our audience, and how much we appreciate your support. You’ve kept us afloat all these years, and now that it’s time to kick things into high gear with the sequel coming up, we are so thankful for each and every one of you and what you allow us to do.
Thank you, and remember, as always…
Try Everything (like I’m doing now)
