Who doesn’t love a good homage to an old and beloved classic? The fun of calling back to timeless classics that have emblazoned themselves into the public consciousness is hardly one you can easily resist. It always makes for a nice way to reflect on how these pieces of cinematic history have impacted their respective genres.
Disney and Pixar certainly aren’t above this sort of practice as seen in this MsMojo video highlighting some of the many recreations of classic movies they’ve managed to work into their projects. Unsurprisingly, Zootopia’s homage to the Godfather featuring the ice-cold Mr. Big managed to make the list. Take a watch and see for yourself.
