Creative Profiles #4: TheoreticallyEva

Source

Hello and welcome to another Creative Profile! This time the profile will be for a writer who I consider a good friend, a wonderful person, and one absolutely amazing person to proliferate prose properly! So, without further ado, let’s give it up for…

TheoreticallyEva!!!

TheoreticallyEva is one fantastic writer. Her stories are absolutely filled with emotions and chock full of fun situations that leave you with a dopey smile on your face the rest of the day.

Don’t believe me? Just ask my coworkers after I read a chapter of The Tale of Crossfire and the Hustler (seriously, that story will keep a smile on your face for several days).

TE is a queen when it comes to the one-shot and filling each of her unique stories with emotions that feel like they belong. When you read one of her stories, you feel like you are the characters, feeling what they are feeling and doing what they are doing. It is a unique way of writing that is hard to explain, as you feel rather than read. This makes her stories incredibly enjoyable and rather addicting.

Also, have I mentioned jherone-shots are incredible? If you don’t believe me, check out Liar, Liar, Heart on Fire. Told from Nick’s perspective, TE creates such a deep environment for his views and thoughts that as I was reading it, I could imagine Jason Bateman saying each of the lines, down to the inflection and tone of how it was said.

And it felt so real.

Those emotions are hard to contain, especially in a first-person perspective story; however, TheoreticallyEva manages to do it, and do it well.

So, we’ve covered her storytelling abilities, how they make you feel, and how absorbed into the story one becomes when reading it, so what else, you may ask, is important to cover? What question needs to be asked more?

Is there fluff?

In TheoreticallyEva’s stories is there so much fluff that a marshmallow whip factory couldn’t contain it all? Yes, yes, there is.

If you want to find a single story that encapsulates the fun, witty, and organic relationship that is distinctly WildeHopps, then look no further than her story The Application. This story might also be one that I’ve read the most out of all in the entire fandom because I love it so much.

I will not spoil the story for you, as I want you to be able to be surprised by it. All I will say is that it is incredible and feels very much in character for Nick and Judy. (Also, did I mention that Koraru-san over on DA is making a comic for it that makes this story even more adorable? As if you need another reason to check her art out as she is incredible as well. 😉 )

So there you have it! What are you waiting for? Go check out TheoreticallyEva today!
