Comic: “I (Less Than Three) U” [FULL COMIC] (original by Mister Mead)

What’s this?  A happy comic from Mister Mead?  For Valentine’s Day?  Is it too good to be true?

Yes.  Yes it is.  Come on, Mead, there’s a reason you have this Cards Against Zootopia card.

Also, if you’re wondering why the title of this post is that way, apparently Blogger thinks that “<3” is broken HTML.  Learn what love is, Blogger.  Now then, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to be over in a corner healing from the inevitable emotional onslaught.

Check out the comic for yourself over on Tumblr (Part 1) (Part 2), or after the break!

    • I had to provide some detail over on Reddit for this as well.

Basically, Judy's hopped up on adrenaline and endorphins right now, and those are damping the normal pain response. Once those wear off, she's going to be in agony. Ribs can't be immobilized, and as a result, every breath and movement can cause IMMENSE pain. There's almost no way to avoid it (the collar bone is also one of these that is notoriously "fun" to recover from).

From an evolutionary perspective, it makes sense. When the fight of flight response is triggered, the body can't afford to let a little thing like broken bones to interfere with keeping it alive. By deadening the pain response, it allows for a chance of survival…although the individual may question that chance once the pain really begins.

    • Nope, unless those are in the 100-200ug (0.1-0.2mg) dose amounts, that's going to be one dead bunny. Normally oxycodon comes in doses ranging from 5mg-160mg (5-15mg is normal), and you'd normally only take 1 every 4-6 hours. That script is for double that dose rate, and based on body mass, she'd need very little active ingredient.

…or the Doc's trying to get her hooked on opioids.
