Zootopia is in the Top 5 Best Animated Movies of All Time!

Souce

I posted a comic about Inside Out earlier, which reminded me of something very exciting I don't believe I covered before.  On RottenTomatoes, Zootopia finds itself firmly in the #5 spot on their list of the Best Animated Movies of All Time.  The only animated movies above it are Inside Out, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and the second and third Toy Story movies.

Personally, I am totally okay with it being #5.  All the movies above Zootopia are masterpieces of animation, so it's in very good company.

Check it out on Rotten Tomatoes!

  2. I still haven't seen Toy Story or any other Pixar sequels, and Snow White is dwarfed by many other subsequent works in my personal chart (emphasis on personal - it WAS nothing short of groundbreaking back in the day, showing that animation could competite with and surpass live action, and to an extent I owe all my animated movie favourites to its existence). So Inside Out is the only other movie in this Top 5 I rank on the same tier with Zootopia... or vice versa? I didn't immediately rank Zootopia up there unlike with, say, Frozen (foxes and bunnies went to sit with the many "close second" classics like Tarzan, Atlantis or Big Hero 6 for me at first), but by now I can't deny the movie's steadily increasing impact on me.

But that's my charts, and making it high on those like Rotten Tomatoes is another matter, more than worth a congratulation.
