Greetings authors and artists!
We will be holding a fanfiction and art challenge called a Big Bang that centers on the relationship between Nick and Judy (Wildehopps). We are celebrating that 2026 marks 10 years with our faviorite bunny and fox duo. A Big Bang is a fanfiction challenge with longer fics accompanied by art work. For this challenge, the minimum word count will be 10,000 words and the maximum word count will be 100,000 words. Authors will write a fanfiction centering on the relationship between Nick and Judy and an artist will illustrate a scene from the fanfiction to serve as the cover page (including the author’s name and the title of the fanfiction) as well as one sketch depicting another scene from the fanfiction. It is a fun challenge to help produce more transformative works and allow for more collaboration within the fandom. This is ZNN’s second fanfiction challenge.
