Building blocks as a toy have been around for quite some time now. From the advent of the creation of the “Automatic Binding Bricks” to the now famous Legos there is no question that the toy has become a synonymous part of the culture. But Legos and their counterparts are far from just a children’s toy. There are some collector’s sets that fetch hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars. Many of these have been retired from production and are no longer available outside third-party sellers. Others were designed from the start to appeal more to adults with expendable income and are designed for both fans of the respective series and collectors alike. Regardless of the purpose of the product, the popularity is unquestionable, and there is no question about the mainstay that Lego and their counterparts have become. One thing that Lego started as a product initiative was the “Lego Ideas” incentive. This project allows interested parties to not just explore ideas that have not yet been created but submit their own. Many of these ideas have not met the minimum threshold of support while others have become actual products the company sells. Recently, two ideas have been pitched revolving around Zootopia. The first of which has generated a bit more support, and the second, which also slowly seems to be gaining traction. Both of these projects are worth looking into and could definitely use your support in getting through the initial stages to full production. As of now, both projects have time remaining before the ideas are set to expire. So check them out and let us know in the comments below if these ideas are something you would like to see the company fully support.
