[Rating M16][Hurt/Comfort] [Therapy]
My face hurts. The day has passed me by, and I’ve been swallowed by over 90,000 words of sweet WildeHopps angst, comfort, and therapy. The aftermath of the Lynxley case hasn’t left Nick and Judy as well off as they think. They both want to be better for the other, and helping them get there is original character Dr. Abigale Hull, precinct psychiatrist. All seems on the right track as they return to work, but after a routine robbery stop goes belly-up for them both, they’ll have to confront their growing feelings and their Pawbert-caused trauma head-on. ElliottChap has mixed perfectly-paced slow burn, deep, intense introspection, and plenty of therapy realizations into a potent cocktail that has me gripped.
