Ever since Zootopia 2 released in theaters two months ago, fans have wondered when they will be able to buy a copy of the film so they can watch it at home over and over again. Now, at long last, we finally have our answer: March 3, 2026!
Most fans of Zootopia will recognize this as a very important date: it is one day shy of the first film’s 10th anniversary! In fact, several fans probably saw Zootopia on March 3, 2016 during its early release showings, so the fact that the sequel is releasing on home video exactly 10 years later is truly something special! Disney definitely knew what they were doing when they decided on this day in particular!
Here are the bonus features that will be included with Zootopia 2 (expect these to be on the Blu-ray disc only):

In the United States, Zootopia 2 will be available in three different formats: DVD, Blu-ray, and a Steelbook-exclusive 4K UHD. There will also be a two-movie DVD-only release of both films in a single package. As has been done with the past few Disney Animation releases, there are currently no plans to release the 4K in a standard non-Steelbook release; however, I expect the UK and other countries will get one for those willing to import.
In the meantime, Zootopia 2 releases on digital platforms this Tuesday, January 27. To be clear, this is NOT the film’s release on Disney+. Instead, this is the film being available to digitally purchase or rent from websites such as Fandango Now and Amazon. And don’t forget, the film is still in theaters, so if you just can’t wait another few weeks to own the film, you really should consider going and watching it again on the big screen just as the filmmakers intended!
