
A few days ago, we shared a series of beautiful animations from the Shanghai Fine Art Studios called “A Day in the Life of Zootopia“. Well, Bilibili, the platform they were originally hosted on, conducted some interviews with the creators, and took a look behind the scenes to show how these shorts were made. From a studio built around stop-motion and feltcraft, to ink-wash, to paper cutouts, there’s a lot of different techniques on display, and it’s fascinating to see how they went about putting them all together.
While the videos are all in chinese, with chinese subtitles, the English captions are understandable. Huge thanks again to Zootopia Archive for uploading all of these to Youtube for us to share! Check them all out down below.
