Wolfmeyer! Proof that Zootopians will ship anything with a pulse? Well, given some of the big romance fics like Confused Goatee’s Wolf’s Song that came out about this pair, it shows that there is fluff and kisses to be mined from the duo (and being a Goatee fic, angst. Plenty of that).
And now? Well, not exactly a sequel, not exactly canon, but a spiritual prequel fic (with plenty of mentions and easter eggs to other works and characters in the Hard Knock City verse) sees Ralph and Nadine in what has to be a classic Zootopia romance set-up, under cover at a interspecies couple’s getaway. Add in a nighthowler scare, a tropical island, and a dash of romantic farce and you get an entertaining romance/pining fic that’ll keep you entertained, laughing… -And wanting to leap in and smush muzzle against muzzle and be done with it (but where would the fun be in that).
