Fan edits are something that exists in every television or movie franchise. Fans often go to great lengths to make things the way they like it or to make it more ridiculous. Just like the vast array of fan art, the community of fan edits has a smaller but just as dedicated base. But even with that smaller community, there are a lot of very impressive and just as crazy projects out there. The skill level and involvement in each edit vary, but that doesn’t change the dedication to craft involved. In the last year or so Leo Koutakis has put out two such projects: one dedicated to the first film and one focusing on the second. The editor has some funny ideas, and their portfolio includes many other franchises you may be interested in. They are definitely worth a watch, even if you are just curious. For the Zootopia hijinks, you can check out both of them below. Have you ever been involved in a fan edit project or seen one that stuck with you? Let us know in the comments.
