Heyo! We have a little bit of an older video, released in September of 2025, but the interviews are just as interestingas the day it came out! A member of the Screen Rant reporting team sat down with head of animation Chad Sellers and story animators Carrie Liao & David VanTuyle, to talk about the challenges they faced while animating Zootopia 2, what they learned while on the job, and some of the inspirations and ideas behind the world and it’s charachters. In this interview, it’s once again mentioned how every frame is jammed packed with references and jokes in the background, which only raises my excitement for when it is finally released and I can look at the backgrounds in High def and frame by frame!
