Cross-overs, cameos, and subtle mentions are all too common in the world of media. Whether as subtle as an easter egg or as obvious as name placement, there is no doubt that these strategies have a direct impact on both the older media as well as the new one. Zootopia has found it’s way into the cultural Zeitgeist. From having its own area in the Shanghai Park to having product placement with Starbucks, there is no doubt that Zootopia has found its place in popular media. Recently, we discovered that DarkX2 had been dabbling with the old 8 bit style music of Super Mario. They have been dabbling in a few covers, including one for Shakira’s Try Everything.
