Hello everybody. Unfortunately, it is with a heavy heart that we have to share some bad news.
Tommy Lister Jr., a professional wrestler and character actor whom we all knew as the lovably gruff Finnick, passed away last Thursday at the age of 62. He is believed to have died of natural causes.
He was known not only for his role in Zootopia, but a number of other roles as well including Deebo from the Friday franchise, and President Lindberg from The Fifth Element. He’s been described as a great guy and a talented actor who could pop into character at the drop of a hat, able to go from terrifying at one moment to laughing with a big smile at the next. He even used his acting prowess to help others, be it to assist a grieving family or raise awareness about Covid-19.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family and friends. We are all at a loss without him and he will truly be missed.
