  1. I loved Fox on the Run, it was one of the tensest stories I have read in the fandom yet, and it has created some interesting debate, particularly in the latter stages of the story. I'm also happy to have been hat-tipped with regards to a guess I made (apparently not many other people got my guess about Judy's raid being early).

Johnsoneer will be writing for the What If…? Collaboration and his work is due to be revealed in November. After that, I'll be happy to read something from him again.

I'm also loving Safe Paws, it's a really good slow-burn story.

  2. I had a few problems with Fox on the Run. I just want to bring attention that not every story is going to be amazing and for me FOTR was strong the first 2 acts of the story but the third act kinda fell apart for me especially the reasons why the characters did some of the things they did and lost some of the focus of earlier plot points. If you read and enjoyed it I'm not going to take that away but I do want to bring to light as to there is a divide on the story in the community (more positive than negative but there is a sizable chunk of negative) and if you're going to start reading be warned it's a you will like it or don't story but overall it is a solid story.

Everything else on here is good to catch up on

    • Indeed. It definitely caused debates, especially over at AO3. But perhaps that's the best sort of story: the one that gets people thinking and talking. I don't think there is truly a 'wrong' or 'right' way to take the story, and as you've said that's down to the reader to decide.

  3. It's getting really annoying reading the confusing mix of title words that the guy who writes these articles uses every time. Combining the words into that mess makes no sense and is getting very aggravating. Just start naming the story update articles "ZNN Story Updates; 9/3/17" or something like that, instead of the *sarcasm on* incredibly creative and thoughtful *sarcasm off* "Fox on the jazz when safe bunny who rabbit hand with the giant cthulhu monster running from woods and savages blah blah blah" that you've been using for the past year and a half. ZNN is really going downhill lately. No creativiy, lots of inactivity on part of its members, no new interviews in like half a year and constantly kissing the big author's backsides, and nothing new or creative it's always just the same stuff over and over again. How do you expect us to stay interested in zootopia until the the next movie comes out if you're always posting the same boring black and white crap day in and day out? Get a grip and get creative instead of festering over this garbage.

    • yeah no problem. Sorry if I was a bit mean, but I was ranting, and someone had to say it I guess. Just find someone willing to help out and clean up and make ZNN relevant again. Good luck.

    • I'd like to add a note on this criticism above. Telling the creators of this site to get a grip seems a little extreme. And there has been plenty of creativity as well! Also, the last interview with Cimar was only a few months ago, and those are no easy feat so getting even one of those a season is a treat. Sure, there have been a few less content forward posts like full-color comics or animations or the like, but that is hardly the fault of ZNN. If there is less content coming out of the fandom, then it makes sense we'd see less here. Overall, ZNN has still been an absolute joy to come visit and I applaud the admins for doing the work they do for the fans.

But I will agree on a few things. Firstly, yeah the jumbled up titles in names might have been fun once or twice but is just a nuisance now. Also, it would be nice to see some more activity from members. Let's get some writing contests in here or something like that to get the community engaged!
