See a Presentation on the Psychology of Zootopia!

The Professor is hard at work!

About three weeks ago, we featured an article about Trevor Hedberg, a grad student in the Philosophy department of the University of Tennessee, and how he was working to incorporate Zootopia into his class on Contemporary Moral Problems.  Well, I am pleased to report that Mr. Hedberg is now officially Dr. Hedberg, and that he is taking his research and ideas even further thanks in part to the fantastic response he received from the Zootopia fandom!

This weekend, he is showing some of his research to the public at Furry Weekend Atlanta.  His presentation, titled Psychology and Contemporary Morals as Presented in Furry Film”, will be a 30-minute long presentation about the hidden depths of Zootopia’s message and morals, followed by a 30-minute period for open discussion.  If you live in Atlanta, you should definitely check it out!

The presentation will be Saturday, April 8th, at 7:30 PM.  If you’d like to see more details about it, you can find them on the Furry Weekend Atlanta website, under Schedule.  Hopefully he will get a good turnout so people will consider bringing him and other Zootopia related panels to conventions!

  1. For the record, the panel was pretty well-attended and generated a good discussion. (I also overheard some people talking about it in the Dealer's Den the following day.) Thanks for the promo!
