Merch Review : Zootopia – The Stinky Cheese Caper (and other cases from the ZPD Files)

Hey guys! Surrika here with another book review, but this book is rare. Not in the sense that it is hard to get a hold of, but rare in what its contents are. This book is none other than “Zootopia: The Stinky Cheese Caper!” It contains 4 short stories that take place after the movie!

So, all you people asking for more Nick and Judy after the film stories, this book delivers just that!

Find out more after the break!

Nice of you to join me for the rest of the review. let’s buckle in and get right to it shall we?

One thing I will get right into, is this book brings several deleted concepts back, such as the theme park Wild Times (although they don’t spell it with an E for obvious reasons). They also bring back Outback Island and the Meadowlands.  They even have some lovely monochrome illustrated pictures dotted around the book!

The book contains 4 short stories, each of which are connected via an over-arcing story that is all about a bridge that is being built to Zootopia called “The Bridge to Everywhere.” Unfortunately this bridge passes right over Outback Island, which springs up a protest from the Outbackers, who feel like they are being ignored.

Once again our duo find themselves face to face with the duke of bootleg.

The story contains both new and returning characters like Duke Weaselton!  The stories also touch on who the new mayor of Zootopia is.

And if you want to find out who it is, well I guess you’re going to have to buy the book! It is a nice little read but I will say the villains motivation at the end becomes a little blurry with his actions, but he does put Judy’s and Nick’s life in danger, so this book even has an action sequence!

If you’re looking for a good story, I would recommend this book and it is not too expensive! A must own if you want a more extended universe to Zootopia. Because, if nothing else, it certainly does extend it!

You can find the book on Amazon and your local book retailer!

This is Surrika, your friendly neighborhood meerkat, signing out!
