Comic: The Wall (by MisterMead)

What was Nick doing between the press conference and the bridge scene?  After all, there were a good couple of months in-universe between those scenes taking place.  The bridge scene suggests that he had done some serious soul-searching and contemplation about his life, Judy, and everything else.  What was that like?

MisterMead sets out to explore this a little bit in this comic.

  1. Isn't several months a bit too long of a gap? I thought it was several (2-3) weeks max.
The news report comes one week after the conference and we see Judy filling out report for the Emmitt Otterton case so that's probably not long after. At the farm I'd give her a at most week or two since it all still seems fresh to her.

But that's just me, maybe it was mentioned and I don't remember anymore.

PS: It's about time Blogger implemented something as basic as editing your own comments.

    • Well, if they said so I guess it's legit. But the movie doesn't really seem to imply as much.

Aside from what I already wrote, Judy was unaware about her parents cooperating with Gideon so the time she spent back home was really short. Most of the several months must've been spent in Zootopia then. I'd expect her to leave right after resignation so there must've been several months long gap between the news report and her resignation, in which case it seems weird she'd still be filling out the report for Otterton in that scene, months after it was "solved".

      TL;DR: Just my nitpicking. 🙂

  2. Wow. That was painful. Amazing take on how he coped. Now I need to go watch their reunion so I don't turn into a blubbering idiot.
